8 Quick-Fire Social Media Tips for April

Need a quick-fix for your socials? Try the below and let us know how you get on!

1. Check that your hashtags are still relevant and see if there are any new ones you can add to the mix. There are mixed views on how to best use hashtags and it'll vary depending on your business but as a rule of thumb, they should be used to compliment your content, the quality of your captions and mixed media are still key!

2. Shoot content in portrait where possible for easy reel creation. A time-lapse of you working is also a great tip for easy content creation.

3. Check out your work calendar and see what you can add into your content this week.

  • Client meetings.

  • Behind the scenes.

  • Days out.

  • Family life.

  • Events.

  • Coffee shop / restaurant reviews.

4. Is there anything in the news this week that’s relevant to your industry? Share it with your thoughts!

5. Like and comment on 20 relevant posts a week to give your engagement a little boost.

6. Did you know you can schedule Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin posts natively now? This means you don’t need scheduling software if you’re a newbie!

7. The best times (roughly) to schedule content are:

  • Facebook & Instagram: Monday - Thursday, 9am-12pm

  • LinkedIn: Tuesday - Wednesday, 9am-12pm

8. Create story templates that you can repeat share on Insta, or combine to make a post on LinkedIn.
